In the twinkling of an eye, Joan Marie TerMaat-Schneider, 59 of Williams Bay, WI, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. She was born July 1, 1961 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Edward and Janet (Mitchell) TerMaat.  Joan worked as Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital Janesville on the surgical floor. She was very artistic and loved making pottery and silk screening.

Joan is survived by her mother, Janet TerMaat of Elkhorn, three children; Jessica (Jay) Kortbein of Brookfield, WI, Matthew Stovich of Elkhorn, WI, and Megan Schneider of Walworth, WI, one grandson, Jeremiah Kortbein and  six siblings, David (Sheila) TerMaat of Milwaukee, WI, Mary Huettig of Walworth, WI, Jennifer (Roger) Krohn of Elkhorn, WI, Kathleen (Anthony) Galipo of Franklin, WI, Judy (Chip) McLeod of Walworth, WI and Beth (Don Linhardt) Fogt of Lake Geneva, WI.  She was preceded in death by her father, Edward TerMaat.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 10:30 to 12:30PM on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.
