Joan M. Zinga age 83 of Elkhorn, WI and formerly of Twin Lakes, WI died Monday evening June 15, 2015 at the Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.

The former Joan Marie Neilon was born on October 13, 1931 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen Cavanaugh Neilon.  On April 22, 1950, Joan was united in marriage to Andrew Zinga.  He preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1973.  Joan lived in Chicago until moving to Twin Lakes in the early 1980's.  She was a former member of St. John's Catholic Church.

Joan is survived by:  1 daughter-Mary (Terrence) Freeman of Whitewater, WI; 1 son-Thomas (Karen) Zinga of Bloomingdale, IL;10 grandchildren; 4 gr. Grandchildren; and 1 sister-Josephine Kline of Burlington, WI.

Joan was preceded in death by 2 sisters-Gertrude Kiel and Alice Baker; and 1 brother-Joseph Neilon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00PM Monday June 22, 2015 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn, WI.  Interment will be at 3:30PM at St. John's Cemetery in Twin Lakes, WI.  The Zinga Family will receive friends from 9:00AM until Prayers at 11:30AM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. (Hy 67) Elkhorn, WI.
