Joann B. Hummel, 80 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Ridgestone in Delavan, WI.  She was born December 27, 1940, the daughter of the late Bernard and Ann (Dumas) Hautzinger.  Joann was united in marriage to Carl "Gene" Hummel in August 27, 1965.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Elkhorn. Joann enjoyed spending her time gardening and cooking.

Joann is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gene, two children; Chris (Lynn) Hummel of Delavan, WI and Tina Hummel of New Berlin, WI, and three grandchildren; Ashley, Steven (Emily) and Thomas.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, WI, with Father Oriol officiating. Visitation will be 1:30PM until service time Friday at the church.  Interment will follow services at Mt.
