Elkhorn: John "Jack" B. Horn age 82 of Elkhorn, WI passed away at his home on Friday October 17, 2014. John was born on February 11, 1932 in Ladysmith, WI. He is the son of the late Lewis and Charlotte Horn. John married Lois A. Ruse on July 10, 1954. They were married for over 60 years. John worked as an engineering lab technician for many years and he proudly served in the Marine Corps. John was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, and the Walco Campers; he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family. John is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Sandra; and sister, Doris Maxwell. John is survived by his wife Lois; daughter, Susan (Thomas) Roberts; grandchildren, Christopher (Noelle), Julianne, and Alexander Roberts; his brother, Louis (Jim) Horn; honorary grandchildren "the cousins" Rebecca, Stephanie, and Ross Canales; and many other relatives and friends. A visitation for John will be held at the Bethel United Methodist Church of Tibbets on Tuesday October 21st from 11AM to 1PM, with a memorial service taking place at 1PM at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Johns name to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic of Elkhorn, WI.
