Obituary

John A. Bussey, 84, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his home. He was born September 4, 1939, in Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late Fredrick and Irmadel (Mags) Bussey. John served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann (Lindquist) Bussey on May 29, 1962. John was a very hard-working man. During his career, he owned and operated restaurants, such as the Red Rose Inn in West Grove, PA, and a dry cleaning business in Milwaukee, WI. In his later years, he was a truck and limousine driver. Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife, Mary Ann, children, and grandchildren. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan and could be found watching a football game every Sunday and Jeopardy every weeknight.

John is survived by his two daughters, Kristen (Rick Kent) Bussey and Kim Guy, his three grandchildren, Sheridan Bussey, Shannon Abolins, and Noelle Guy, and his great-grandson, Michael James "MJ." He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann, his parents, and two brothers, George and Ted Bussey.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Online guest book available at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
