John A. Cabrera, age 93, of Elkhorn, WI passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1930, the son of the late Alfred and Charlotte (Youngdahl) Cabrera. During his life, he served proudly in the United States Army in the 11th Airborne Division and was married to the love of his life, Shirley Cabrera until she passed away in 2016. Together they created a beautiful life. John also enjoyed being a part of the train collector's association and was a part of it for over 60 years.

John is survived by his son; Charles "Chuck"  (Christine) Cabrera, grandchildren; Matthew (Kyle) Locher and Joseph (Jessica) Locher, and great grandchildren; Hannah and Ero Locher.

John is preceded in death by his wife; Shirley, daughter; Cynthia, parents; Alfred and Charlotte and brother; Arnold.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, 53121.
