John R. Doebert

John R. Doebert, 70, of Elkhorn WI., passed away on Friday, December 26th, 2025, at Aurora Sumit hospital in Waukesha, WI. He was born December 6th, 1955, in Elkhorn, WI., the son of Martin, and Betty (Lauderdale) Doebert. John was united in marriage to his late wife Debbie (Haegnow) on November 8th, 1980 in Woodstock, IL.

John will be remembered for a very many things, but none more than loving his family, and especially his grandchildren. John graduated from Elkhorn high school in 1974, and still to this day holds the boys shot put record of 54’ 4.25. John was the McGuyver type, ever the tinker, all he needed was a tool or two, and he would try to fix anything. John was big into hunting, and fishing, and loved Wisconsin sports, but was a very hardcore Packers, and Brewers fan. John will be missed for his big heart, and helpful hand. Known always to be a very hard worker, he put that attitude and strong will into fighting a hard fight against cancer.

John is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Duane) Hadley, his sisters, Donna, and Jean Doebert. He is further survived by his grandkids Nathan, and Bayleigh.

John is preceded in death by his parents, and his dear wife Debbie.
