John C. Gitzinger, age 54, of Lisle, IL, died Wednesday morning, December 4, 2019 at Good Samaritan  Hospital in Downers Grove, IL.

John Charles Gitzinger was born on February 4, 1965 in Nashville, TN, the son of Charles and Bernadine Golab Gitzinger.  John lived in Schiller Park, IL and Powers Lake, Wi before moving to Lisle 15 years ago.

Johnny worked as an operating engineer for Local 150 of Operating Engineers.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Johnny was our rock, our foundation and helped build the world.

Johnny is survived by: His parents Charles and Bernadine Gitzinger of Powers Lake, WI; a sister Jo Ann Houston f Lisle, IL and a brother, Jim (Tracy) Gitzinger of Prairie Grove, IL.

A Celebration of Johnnys Life will be held from 12:00PM to 4:00PM on Saturday February 8, 2020 at Maple Ave. Pub, 1227 Maple Ave. Lisle, IL. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Remembrances may be made in John's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes is serving the Gitzinger Family.
