John "Jack" C Bobula

John (Jack) Bobula age 87 of Wheatland, WI died March 14, 2026. He was born in Wheatland, WI, on June 16, 1938. The son of the late John and Matilda (Kretschmer) Bobula, he was child number 4 of his 13 siblings. He married the girl next door, Nancy Good, they were married for over 64 years at her passing. He was a proud veteran of the 101st Airborne Division.

He retired as a supervisor from American Motors/Chrysler in Kenosha after 30+ years. He loved working with cars and restored an AMX Javelin as one of his first retirement projects, he painted it fire engine orange.

In retirement he worked at the Town of New Munster transfer station loving referred to as “the dump.” He was a one in a million kind of man who kept busy working in his yard, he could fix just about anything and loved watching the birds at his feeders with family and friends. He looked forward to his morning coffee hour with the guys at the Corner Kitchen in Twin Lakes.

His kindness and warmth will be deeply missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. May his memories be a blessing

Survived by his children Theresa (Theresa Neo) Bobula, John Bobula, David (Denise) Bobula and Robert (Lori Schafer) Bobula. His Grandchildren: Ashly (Bill) Goss, Chelsea Bobula and William (Renee) Bobula, Great Grandchildren Karly Cichly, Amelia Bobula and Vera Bobula. He is also survived by sisters: Donna, Alice, Nancy, Pam, Pat, brothers Mike and Tim, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, brothers Frank, Jim, Tom, sisters Delores, Barb, and daughter in law Terri.

With the compassionate and outstanding care of the Aurora Hospice Team led by Brenda O, RN, Elma, Taylor and Dr. Cassidy, Jack was able to remain in his home
