John J. Scheibe, age 75, of Genoa City, WI, died on Sunday, June 12. 2022 at his home.

John Joseph Scheibe was born on September 27, 1946, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Edward Joseph and Alice Pearl (Patzke) Scheibe.

John served in the U.S. Army from January 21, 1966, until discharge on April 29, 1968 as a SP5.  He earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and Expert Rifle with M14's.

John lived most of his life in Johnsburg, Illinois and Genoa City, Wisconsin.

He formerly worked for Borg Warner building System80 Teaching Machines, restored Corvettes at Harmony Corvette & was a Service Writer for Northtown Automotive in McHenry, IL.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  John enjoyed polka music, drag racing & working on cars, playing Scrabble and was a collector of model trains.

John is survived by: his son, Adam (Shara) Scheibe of Chicago, IL and his daughter, Holly (David Boyd) Scheibe of Chicago, IL and his grandson, Matthew Boyd.

Private Family Services will be held.  The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City is assisting the Scheibe Family.
