Joseph D. Moos age 73 of Genoa City, WI died March 6, 2021.  He was born in Chicago, IL on July 4, 1947.  The son of the late James and Dorothy (Denn) Moos.  On August 24, 1968 in Arlington Heights, IL he was united in marriage to Barbara McGowan.

In 1977 he started Happy Jack's Restaurant in McHenry, IL with his brother.   Joe began his career at Osco Drug as a manager, then took a new opportunity as a salesman at Eby-Brown Company until he retired in 1996. Joe was always looking for a good real estate investment which led him to purchasing and running Keller's Restaurant in Genoa City and running it for over a decade.  He had many other Real Estate and Rental Properties also.

In 2007 he was given the Business Person of the Year by the Genoa City Lions Club.  He was also the Grand Marshall of the Genoa City Days Parade in 2008.  Joe was always willing to the extra mile to help someone in need.  He built his own dune buggy and enjoyed sharing it with his family.  He also liked to ride his motorcycle and could fix about anything mechanical that came along.

Survived by his wife Barbara, his son Michael (Bonnie) Moos and daughter, Lisa Moos.  Grandfather to Ashley Higgins and Cody Keller and Great Grandfather to Nevaeh Parker.  Brother to Jeffrey (Patti) Moos, Jack (Sherri) Moos and the late James Moos.  Further survived by his Sister in Law Ann Moos, brother in law Ian Craig (Sheri) McGowan and many nieces and nephews. Joe also had a love for his "kids with tails" – his cats.
