Obituary
Josephine M. Burmeister age 91 of Twin Lakes, WI died Thursday evening January 8, 2015 at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
The former Josephine Marie Stanczyk was born on April 26, 1923 in Fort Wayne, IN the daughter of the late Michael and Antonia Mroczkowska Stanczyk. On August 22, 1`941, she was united in marriage to Roland "Rollie" Burmeister. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2014.
Josephine and Rollie owned and operated Rollie and Jo's Resort and Melody Park Campgrounds in Twin Lakes. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Twin Lakes Area Chamber and Business Assoc. and was a member and past president of the Twin Lakes American Legion Post #544 Ladies Auxiliary.
Josephine is survived by: 2 sons-Kenneth (Brenda) Burmeister of San Antonio, TX, Robert Burmeister of Twin Lakes, WI and 1 daughter-Kathy Burmeister of Twin Lakes, WI; 3 grandchildren-Amanda, Sam and Brian and 1 gr. Granddaughter-Jules.
She was preceded in death by 4 sisters-Jeanette, Alice, Annie and Stella.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in St. John's Cemetery. Memorial remembrances may be made to Daybreak Adult Day Services, 7104 39th Ave. Kenosha, WI 53142-7133.
