Joyce L. Carr age 83 formerly of Lockport, IL died June 29, 2025.  She previously also lived in Chicago, Chicago Heights, Hazel Crest and Homewood, IL.   She was born on July 23, 1941, the daughter of the late Andrew T. Culloden and the late Mary TenBroeck nee Matutis.  On August 20, 1966, she was united in marriage to Wesley R. Carr.  They were married for 58 years.

During her early years she attended and graduated from Bloom High School and Southern Illinois University.   She worked as a teacher and retired from Homewood-Flossmoor High School and had worked for Hazel Crest Middle School and Junior High School.

Mother of Andrew (Jennifer) Carr and Steve (Jasmine) Carr. Grandmother to Alexander, Jacob, Breanne, Autumn and Evlyn.  Aunt to to Leeandra (Paul) Gunderlock.  Preceded in death by sister-in-law Roberta (Bernie) Adolph.

Funeral Service will be held on July 15, 2025, at 11:00AM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 113 Freeman St.  Genoa City, WI.  Burial will follow at 1:00PM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.   Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home.    The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City, WI is honored to serve the Carr family.
