Joyce D Seipp

Joyce Seipp passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, at home, while being well cared for by her family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Irene and John Moffat and was later raised by Jim Holmes after her father’s death, early in her childhood. She spent most of her life in Melrose Park, Illinois, where she raised her family and built lasting friendships. In her later years, Joyce made her home in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, a place she truly loved.

Joyce married Thomas Seipp on August 14, 1948. Together they had two daughters and although they separated earlier on, they had a close friendship throughout their lives.

She is survived by her daughters, Deb (Vic) Damen and Patti Seipp (Donna Bavaro); her grandchildren, Stacey Damen and April (John) Horn; and her great-grandchildren, Derek, Sadie, Logan, Damen, and Walker. She is also survived by her sister, Dian Ericksen (the late Art), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Moffat (Eli).

Joyce devoted 38 years of her professional life to Frank Jewelers, where she was one of the company’s longest standing and most respected employees. Serving as both a top salesperson and Assistant Manager, she helped manage multiple stores and was admired for her dedication, work ethic, and personal connection with customers and colleagues alike.

Joyce embraced activity and finding the fun in life. As a young woman, she was a synchronized swimmer and tap dancer. In her adult years, she enjoyed roller skating, snow skiing, water skiing, and bar hopping. Later in life, she found joy and peace in reading, bird watching, gardening, and relaxing on her pontoon boat. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time on Lake Mary in Twin Lakes aboard her beloved boat, Joy’s Toy, with friends and family.

Joyce will be remembered for her independence, her love of the outdoors, her strong work ethic, and her deep devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on through the generations she cherished and the many lives she touched. Good night, sweet dreams, we love you.

Due to a family emergency the Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Seipp family.
