Joye Arlene (nee Norwood) Kaul, 85 of Elkhorn, WI, formerly of Rhinelander, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at home.  She was born June 11, 1936 in Brainerd, MN, the daughter of the late Arli and Eileen (Spiess) Norwood.  Joye was united in marriage to William H. Kaul on June 20, 1958 in Brainerd, MN.  Together, they lived in Rhinelander for 47 years then later moved to Elkhorn for the past 15 years to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren.

Joye was an excellent musician, playing the organ, piano and accordion. She played at various churches and Joye played with Bill at various events and nursing homes. Joye was a very generous person sharing her gift of music, but also loved to remember her friends and family with the gift of card or flowers.  She was very active at their church, Foursquare Gospel in Rhinelander, WI.  Joye will always be remembered for her ability to listen and compassion of others.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  Joye was a dedicated prayer partner.  Her knowledge of scripture and love for Jesus was a blessing to so many.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, William H. Kaul, their two children; Jenell (Ron) Wetzel of Arlington Heights, IL and Jeren (Rick Jr.) Stolzenfeld of West Allis, WI, their six grandchildren; Elizabeth, Eric and Emily Wetzel, Mikayla (Noah) Duffenbach, Bradley and Julie Stolzenfeld her five siblings; Jack (Cheryl) Norwood, Janet (Karl) Tesch, Curt (Bonnie) Norwood, Kay (Robert) Negley and Arla (Eddie) Bleã, sister-in-law, LaVerna (Ray) Johnson, many nieces, nephews and extended family members.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jay Norwood and niece, Brenda Norwood.

Funeral Service will be 12:00PM on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N.
