Judith "Judy" Ann Vance, wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 at Lakeland Hospital in Elkhorn, WI, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Judy was born November 21st, 1946 in Elkhorn, WI.  She married Larry on May 1st, 1965.  She had a love for her time with her family, playing board and card games with her grandchildren, traveling to county fairs and flea markets and her cats and Hereford beef cattle.  She served as secretary and was devoted to the success of the Walworth County Fair for 25 years.  She was first woman to serve as the president for the Wisconsin State Association of Fairs. Her love for county fairs lead to her leadership on the Wisconsin Association of Fairs and the International Association of Fairs and Expositions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Mary (Kadlec) Mitchell.   Judy is survived by her loving husband, Larry, two sons, David and Brian (Marrissa) Vance, six grandchildren: Karsen, Brody, Kade, Josie, Taelyn, and Sauntry, younger sister, Jan Obenchain, niece, Sara and nephew, Dan.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00AM on Friday, June 16, 2023 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be 9:00AM until service time at the church on Friday.  Judy will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband, Larry, upon his passing at Mt.
