Judith Marie (Charbonneau) Miller, Elkhorn, WI, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026. Judie was born in Lebanon, MO, August 3, 1942, the daughter of Francis L. Charbonneau and Neva F. (LaFever) Charbonneau. She graduated from the American School of Chicago, IL. She was married to Dean H. Miller on January 22, 1970.
Growing up, she was very involved in music from the age of 2. She played first chair violin for her school's symphony orchestra and knew many entertainers in the Country Music field around Springfield and Branson, MO. During her working career she was Administrative Assistant to the CEO of Allstate Insurance in Northbrook, IL, Concierge for the Grand Geneva Resort and Guest Services Manager and Head Concierge for Lake Lawn Resort. Judie and Dean enjoyed buying or creating various businesses over the years. Their last endeavor was Jadex, Inc. (aka The Little Red Bus), a limo bus company they began in June, 1997 where she served as President & CEO. They retired for the second time from that company in July, 2016. Judie enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and traveling with her husband on cruises.
Judie is survived by her Husband, Dean Miller; Son, Dana Miller; Step-Daughters Debra (Dick) Sazama of Eau Claire, WI; Diane (Jay) Pattison of Hugo, MN; Denise Hayden of Eau Claire, WI; as well as her foreign-exchange daughter, Ana (Augusto) Farias of Fortaleza, Brazil; step grandchildren, great step grandchildren, and great great step children; nieces and nephews and their families.
Special thanks to the doctors, surgeons, nurses, and everyone involved in making the last months of her life comfortable. Judie was predeceased by her parents.
