Kathleen T. Yanke, age 85 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in the comfort of her home. Daughter of the late Bernard and Pauline (nee Larkin) Masterson, Kathy was born on September 1, 1939, in Evanston, IL. On June 17, 1961, after just 9 months of courtship, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Paul W. Yanke. Kathy was a devoted wife and homemaker and she and Paul were truly best friends. The couple loved watching sports together—especially football. After retirement, Kathy and Paul were snowbirds, spending half the year in Florida. Ever the sports fan, Kathy enjoyed working at the refreshment stand during Paul's softball games in Florida.

Kathy is survived by her loving children, Jay (Virginia) Yanke, Paula Davis, Patricia (Daniel) Subach, Jeff Yanke, and Kerry (Craig) Greenwald; grandchildren, William (Bryant) Subach, Tanner, Erin, and Evan Davis, Tristen (Ally), Samuel, Benjamin, Savannah-Rose, and Aleah Yanke, Abigale (Alex) Balas, and Emma Greenwald; great-grandchildren, Weston and Riley Yanke, Lilah Greenwald, and one great-grandson on the way; and her brother, John (Anne) Masterson.

In death she is reunited with her parents; husband; and siblings, Bernie Masterson, Peggy McDonnell, and Barbara Regilio.

A memorial mass will take place at 3:00PM on Friday, December 13, 2024, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn, WI, 53181.
