Kathy Lynn Erskine 61 of Elkhorn, WI died at home on Monday October 21, 2019.  Kathy was born on June 18, 1958, daughter of the late Earl and Myrtle (Burson) Sheldon.  Kathy married Steven W. Erskine on October 25, 1981 at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.  They raised their family and spent their lives together until the time of his passing in 2017.  Kathy was very talented in the Fiber Arts.  She prepared llama wool from their farm for dying, knitting, spinning, and weaving.  She was also very involved in  politics, she loved music and concerts, and she very much enjoyed camping.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve; and son; Dan. She is survived by her children; Jeremy (Kristyn) Erskine, and Paul (Chelsea Grover) Erskine; grandchildren; Amber, Sophia, and Danielle Erskine; and siblings; Earl (Jackie) Sheldon Jr., Gary (Marilyn) Sheldon, and Charlotte Clauer.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.  Inurnment will follow at 2:00PM at Sugar Creek Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Research Institute  www.donate3.cancer.org.
