Whitewater: Kenneth R. Brockmann,77; of Kristy Lane died Saturday February 7, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 20, 1937 in Arlington Heights, IL the son of the late Edward and Esther (Buhrke) Brockmann. He was united in marriage to the former Janice A. Miller on June 28, 1969 in the First United Methodist Church of Elkhorn, WI. Ken served for over 21 years with the Wisconsin Army National Guard. He was a Tool and Die maker with AO Smith of Elkhorn for over 30 years, 13 years with Accurate of Whitewater, WI and he drove sports bus for Nelson Bus Service of Whitewater for over 11 years. Ken had 47 years of service with the Lauderdale-LaGrange Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Member of the 32nd Division Red Arrow Club of Southern Wisconsin Army National Guard. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janice, two children; Theresa (Clint) Clapper of Fort Atkinson and Ryan (Lindsay) Brockmann of Waukesha, three grandchildren Blake and Jase Clapper, Ianna Ryan and a set of twins due in April, one brother; Glen Roy (Pat) Brockmann of Delavan, WI, four sisters-in-law; Diane Brockmann of Elkhorn, Jean Brockmann of Fort Atkinson, Jeanette Brockmann-Tobler of Beaver Dam and Sandra Rein of Little River, South Carolina, two special friends; Ronald Marty of Elkhorn, Steve Taylor of LaGrange and by a host of other relatives and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Alwin, David, Chester and Melvin and by 2 sisters; Frances Antone and Elaine Cheney. Memorial service will be 6:00 PM Thursday February 19, 2015 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn with Rev. Gerald Petersen officiating. Inurnment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan, WI. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 PM until time of service.
