Obituary

On Thursday, August 25, 2022, the life of Kevin C. Johnson of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin was abruptly shortened and he is no longer with us. Born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on November 21, 1975, the youngest child of Leanna and Charles Johnson, Kevin was just 46 years old when he passed from this life. He graduated from Elkhorn Area High School's class of 1994. A charming extrovert, Kevin had a knack for hospitality as well as the singing voice of an angel, skills and talents he used in the numerous jobs he worked, which were all in the service industry.  Kevin also enjoyed cooking good, flavorful food, gardening and growing plants, and spending time with the people who were closest to him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leanna, who passed away in 2016. He is survived by his father, Charles, and siblings Debbie, Darren (Greg), Donna, and Kimberly (Brian). He is further survived by his nieces and nephews Ben (Kassie), Chase (Lora), Jacob (Kayla), Molly, Brynn, Jonah and Rees. Additionally, Kevin leaves behind a multitude of friends who were his second family. Haase Lockwood Funeral Home of Elkhorn is handling the private family visitation and cremation. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on September 10, 2022, at Fat Boyz in Fort Atkinson. We want to remember Kevin most for his exuberant personality and contagious smile and laugh. Those who knew him in the day-to-day basked in the illumination of his constant positivity and kindness.  Let's keep his light on ... "Those we love can never be more than a thought away... for as long as there's a memory, they live in our hearts to stay." -unknown
