King "Paul" F. Moy, age 75, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, due to respiratory disease. He was born on October 18, 1948, in Guangzhou, China. He moved to the United States as a teenager and served honorably in the United States Army stationed in Danang, Vietnam. His interest in science, research, and experimentation led him to develop recipes for a restaurant of his own - Moy's - which was a staple of the community for over 30 years. He was a master of Wing Chun, loved reading books and beating the game of Baccarat. He will be remembered for his selfless service, willingness to help others, and support for youth organizations. He followed the teachings of Buddhism and lived his life with love and compassion. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
Paul is survived by his children; James and Jason, one brother, one sister, and many other relatives and friends.
Burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S Prairie Ave, Waukesha, WI, 53186 on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 2:00PM followed by Military Honors. A Blessing will take place at Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple, 1035 W. 31st St Chicago, IL 60608 on Friday, September 13, 2024. A celebration of life will take place at the Pepperoni Pub, 627 S. 2nd St., Delavan, WI, 53115 on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00PM.
