LaVon E. Mamerow, 94 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Cindy and Bob's home in Burlington. She was born May 24, 1928 in Pine City, MN, the daughter of the late Jens and Lula (Lingle) Jorgensen.  LaVon was united in marriage to Wilbur C. Mamerow on October 19, 1985 at Millard Covenant Community Church of Elkhorn.  She worked for over 23 years as an assembler at Borg Instruments in Delavan.  LaVon was a very active member of Millard Covenant Community Church, where she sang in the choir and served with the Ladies Aid. She was an avid reader and enjoyed baking and cooking.  LaVon was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved all of her grandchildren dearly.

LaVon is survived by her four children: Larry (Candy) Hartung of Fort Atkinson, WI, Diane (William) Simpson of Pawpaw, IL, Craig Hartung of Delavan, WI and Cindy (Bob) Harkness of Burlington, WI, ten grandchildren; Larry Jr., Katie (Josh), Michael, Sandy, Justin, Brandon, Jillian, Lauren, Savannah and Brandon, four great-grandchildren: Tyler, Keenan, Alex and Amanda, four step-children: Mary Jo (John) Eckert, Sandy (Ron) Palaza, Wilber Jr. (Amy) Mamerow and Patrick (Catey) Mamerow, many extended family members and dear friends.

LaVon is preceded in death by her husband; Wilbur Mamerow, her son; Wade Hartung, her step-son; Michael Mamerow and her three sisters; Ruth Stein, Joyce Healy and Floy Severson.

Funeral Service will be at Millard Covenant Community Church, N6713 Cty Rd O, Elkhorn, WI on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 12:00PM. Visitation will be at church from 11:00AM until the time of service.
