Leonard James Peterson, age 76, of Twin Lakes, WI, died Wednesday September 2nd, 2020 in Lake Geneva, WI. Leonard was one of 14 children, born on August 5, 1944 at St. Joseph Hospital in Chippewa Falls, WI to the late Willard G. and Alvina T. (Ketterhagen) Peterson.

Leonard attended Tuta School and St. Rose of Lyma in Cadott, WI. He enjoyed hunting with his family in the Merrillan and Humbird areas. Leonard worked many years for Laursen & Blackman Construction Co. in Antioch, IL, Koch Construction Co. in Wilmot, WI, and Peterson Construction Co. in Twin Lakes, WI.

Leonard was preceded in death by his siblings; John, Catherine, Marion (Leonard) Bohman, Dorthy (Lavern a.k.a. Hookie) Koch, Raymond (Phyllis), Theodore, Edward (Leila), Roseanne (Jack) Greene, Willard Jr., Gerald Sr., and Lavern a.k.a. Bernie (Sharon); as well as his nieces and nephews; John, Leonard Bohman Jr., Diane Ostrander, Tammy Peterson, Joby Peterson,  Pamela Peterson, Joni Strand,Bradley Peterson and Mathew McDonough.

Leonard is survived by brothers James (Donna) of Cadott, WI and Roger (Bertha) of Genoa City, WI; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Private graveside services and burial will take place at the Brooklawn Cemetery of Cadott, WI. Haase Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is assisting the family.
