Lorene I. Christensen (Renee) age 99 of Elkhorn, WI died on May 9, 2017 at Ridgestone Terrace of Elkhorn.  Lorene was born in Stanley, WI on March 22, 1918, daughter of the late David and Pearl (Gillman) Stong.  Lorene loved to spend her time reading, and crocheting.  She also loved to garden, can foods, camp, and cook.  Lorene is preceded in death by her husband John; parents; David and Pearl; siblings; Thelma, Merl, Vernon, Roland, Stanley, and Evelyn; son; Tommy Berg; and grandchildren; Thomas, and Colleen.  Lorene is survived by; daughter; Sandra (Myron) Kazubowski; grandchildren; Deborah and Kari; great grandchildren; Jennifer, Stephanie, Eden, Alex, and Vincent; great-great grandchildren; Jayden, Caleb, and Nolan.  A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday May 13, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N.
