Elkhorn:  Lorna H. Skrivseth, 95 of Elkhorn, WI, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.  She was born March 24, 1920 in Sydney, Nova Scotia the daughter of the late Francis P. and Theresa M. (Farrell) Healey.  Lorna was united in marriage to Robert K. Skrivseth, P.E. on September 8, 1949 in Riverside, IL.  Robert preceded her in death on February 4, 2011.  Lorna, a graduate of Hunter College in New York City, worked as an Aircraft Engineering Draftsman during WWII and continued until she married in 1949.

Lorna had many interests throughout her life.  As a young adult she earned her private pilot's license and was a co-owner of the plane she flew. She was a life-long reader and Scrabble player.  She organized and participated in bridge clubs for many years.  She was a gourmet cook.

Lorna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her by her four surviving children: Robert C. Skrivseth of Sandia Park, NM; Theresa (John Dyer) Skrivseth of Brookfield, WI,; Gregory (Shirley) Skrivseth of Bellevue, IA; and Joan Lorna Skrivseth of Orlando, FL; and her six grandchildren:  Rachel (Mark) Bloodworth, Michael (Tanya) Skrivseth, Nicole (Cory) Bassing, Daniel, Eric and Ian Skrivseth.   She has two great-grandsons: Alexander Bloodworth and Elway Bassing.   She is survived by one sister, Theresa Cavanagh of San Diego, CA.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert, one daughter, Christine (Mark) Easterle and one son, Richard; as well as her brother Frank, and three sisters – Anne, Ceal, and Mary.

Visitation will be Monday 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:00 PM Monday June 22, 2015 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W Walworth Street, Elkhorn, WI.  Father Oriol Regales will officiate.  Burial will be 2:00 PM Tuesday June 23, 2015 at McKinley Township Cemetery in Cumberland, WI.  Memorials may be made in Lorna's name to Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, 1111 E.
