Obituary
Lorraine L. Williams age 88 of Genoa City, WI died Sunday evening June 15, 2014 at her home.
The former Lorraine L. Lent was born on May 17, 1926 in Genoa City, WI, the daughter of the late Fred and Alice Kimball Lent. On July 11, 1945 in Genoa City, WI, Lorraine was united in marriage to Carl E. Williams, Jr.. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2012. Lorraine has been a resident of Genoa City her entire life. She graduated from Genoa City High School in 1943 and attended business college in Milwaukee.
Lorraine worked as a bookkeeper for George Robinson, Arnold May and Landen Farms. She attended the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Genoa City where she was a member of the Bycota Circle. She was also a member of the Sponholtz-Deignan Post #183 American Legion Auxiliary, the Women of the Moose in Woodstock, IL and the Genoa City Garden Club.
Lorraine is survived by: 3 children-Carl E.(Laurel/Laurie) Williams III of Rhinelander, WI, Patricia E. (Ben)Ashenfelter of Apple Valley, CA and Dale (Margot) Williams of Pell Lake, WI; 7 grandchildren; 15 gr. Grandchildren; 1 sister-Alberta Allen of Burlington, WI; sister in law and brother in law-Catherine and James Whitaker and many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was preceded in death by 1 brother-Everett and 1 sister Evelyn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday June 21, 2014 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Genoa City. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. The Williams Family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Friday at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI and from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Church on Saturday. Memorial remembrances may be made to the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Genoa City or the Village Garden Club Box 335 Genoa City, WI 53128..
