Obituary
M. Barbara Robinson age 85 of Burlington, WI and formerly of Genoa City, WI, died Thursday morning September 4, 2014 at Pine Brooke Point in Burlington.
The former Mary Barbara Kenoff was born on October 14, 1928 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Roy and Bernice Bervid Kenoff. On July 16, 1966 in Indianapolis, IN, she was united in marriage to William George Robinson. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2004.
Barbara was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Robinson Oil Co. in Genoa City. She was a member of the Sponholtz-Deignan Post 183 American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was an avid sports fan especially the CUBS, Blackhawks and her beloved Bears.
Barbara is survived by: 2 sons-Edward VanGeertruy of Illinois and Barry Robinson of Genoa City, WI; 1 daughter-Paula (Kevin) Polheber of Genoa City, WI; 5 grandchildren-Rebecca, Michael, Eddie, Amie and Edie; 1 gr. Grandchild-Denny and a half brother-Bill Ataras. Barbara is also survived by a brother and sisters in law-Gerald (Grace) Robinson of Twin Lakes, WI, Bonnie (Alan) Cornue of Genoa City, WI and Betty (Frank) Page of Markesan, WI.
Private Family Funeral Services will be held at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Genoa City on Saturday September 6, 2014. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Memorial remembrances may be made to Season's Hospice 6737 W. Washington St. Suite 2150, West Allis, WI 53214.
