Madalyn M. Samonig, age 26, passed away on April 10, 2025. She was born in Elkhorn, WI on November 12, 1998, to Kristal Sobieski and Joseph Samonig.

Madi grew up near Lake Geneva, WI where she graduated from High School. She played saxophone in the band and was on the swim team. She was a lifeguard on Geneva Lake, and would fish, sail and spend her summers at camp on the lake. Madi traveled to the beaches of the Dominican Republic, to snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. She had an adventurous heart, was strong spirited, talented, and full of vitality. She is loved by many and is deeply missed.

Madi is survived by her children Loreli Maurizzi, Jaxxson Day, Hudson Day, and Emmerson Day. Her parents Joseph Samonig, and Kristal Voss (Aaron Tamburrino). Her sister Natalie Voss. Her grandparents Constance Colon, Diego Colon, Barb and Don Samonig. Her aunts Amy Samonig, Corina Greenland, Cerina Colon, and her uncle Jason Samonig.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday April 19, 2025, at the Burlington Tap and Smokehouse 7305 McHenry St. Burlington, WI. 53105. The gathering will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Samonig family.
