Marcela Cruz Huerta, age 39, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 14, 2025. She was born on September 13, 1985, in Michoacan, Mexico, the daughter of Miguel and Maria (Huerta) Cruz-Pacheco. Marcela was known to be a very bright and loving person. She loved going out shopping to stores, enjoyed cooking (everyone enjoyed her cooking), loved nature, listening to music, and loved traveling back and forth to Mexico to visit the ranch. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. She was her parent's own personal interior decorator as she loved to do that for them, when she would visit them in Mexico. Her warm personality will be deeply missed.

Marcela is survived by her parents; Miguel and Maria Cruz-Pacheco, sisters and brothers; Micaela (Roberto) Mora, Miguel Angel Cruz, Lorenzo (Lucero Huerta) Cruz, Laura (Antonio Perez) Cruz and Eduardo (Kari) Cuz and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Marcela is preceded in death by her grandmother; Abigail Huerta-Garcia.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn, WI, 53121 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at church from 10:00AM until the time of service. Burial will be held at a later date at the place she loved most, her Mexico. Marcela Cruz Huerta, de 39 años, de Elkhorn, Wisconsin, falleció en su casa rodeada de su querida familia el viernes 14 de marzo de 2025. Nació el 13 de septiembre de 1985 en Michoacán, México, hija de Miguel y María (Huerta) Cruz-Pacheco. Marcela era conocida por ser una persona muy brillante y cariñosa. Le encantaba ir de compras, disfrutaba cocinar (todos disfrutaban de su comida), amaba la naturaleza, escuchar música y le encantaba viajar de ida y vuelta a México para visitar el rancho. Su pasatiempo favorito era pasar tiempo con su familia. Era la decoradora de interiores personal de sus padres, ya que le encantaba hacerlo por ellos cuando los visitaba en México. Extrañaremos profundamente su cálida personalidad.

A Marcela le sobreviven sus padres: Miguel y María Cruz-Pacheco, hermanos; Micaela (Roberto) Mora, Miguel Ángel Cruz, Lorenzo (Lucero Huerta) Cruz, Laura (Antonio Pérez) Cruz y Eduardo (Kari) Cuz, así como sus queridos sobrinos y sobrinas.

Le precedió en la muerte su abuela, Abigail Huerta-García.

La misa funeral se celebrará el Martes 18 de Marzo de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de San Patricio, ubicada en 107 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn, WI, 53121, a las 12:00PM. La visitacion va ser en la iglesia desde las 10:00AM hasta la hora del servicio. El entierro se llevará a cabo en una fecha posterior en el lugar que más amaba, su Mexico.
