Marcene E. Wimer-Seitz, 87, of East Troy, WI, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Brolen Meadows in Mukwonago, WI.  She was born February 9, 1937, in Beloit, WI, daughter of the late Lewis and Dorothy (Short) Reichard.

Marcene earned a bachelor's degree in nursing, and began her nursing career at Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Wimer and the couple raised 3 daughters together, moving to Phoenix, AZ, when the girls were young. Marcene worked for many years at Valley National Bank in Phoenix, from which she eventually retired. Kenny passed away in 1978, but Marcene was blessed to find love again and was married to Leon Seitz in 1984. After Leon's passing, Marcene returned home to Wisconsin, where she resided for her final years.

In her younger years, Marcene was a horsewoman and enjoyed riding her horse, Ginger. She was also an avid knitter who proudly displayed a plaque in her home stating, "she who dies with the most yarn wins." Marcene had a deep affection for her beloved canine companions, Shane the Golden Retriever, and Maizie the St. Bernard, both having preceded her in death. She was a member of Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.

Marcene is survived by her three daughters, Deborah (Kevin) Rising, DeAnna (David) Hodson, and Darcella (Bruce) Densmore; and many grand- and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; grandsons; Jason and Sean Densmore; and brother, Donald Reichard.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Sugar Creek Lutheran Church, N5690 Cobblestone Rd.
