Margit Dregely, age 87, of Burlington, WI, (Lily Lake) passed away Wednesday evening May 17, 2017 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.

The former Margit Polgar was born on August 11, 1929 in Budapest, Hungary.  On March 26, 1956 in Budapest, Hungary, Margit was united in marriage to Julius Dregely.  He preceded her in death in 2005.

Margit and Julius came to the United States in 1957.  They lived in Morton Grove, IL before moving to Lily Lake more than 25 years ago.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Twin Lakes.  She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens.

Margit is survived by:  her daughter and son in law, Martha and Mike Lichter of Mt. Prospect, IL; 2 granddaughter's, Caitlin and Hailey.  She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters.
