Marie L. Springer, age 102, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Friday morning June 17, 2016 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva.

The former Marie Louise Seidel was born on September 13, 1913 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Marie Wacek Seidel.  Marie was united in marriage to John L. Springer on May 1, 1937 in Illinois.  She lived in Norridge, IL and Spooner, WI before moving to Twin Lakes, WI 11 years ago.

Marie formerly worked for Mars Candies in Chicago.  Marie and her husband owned and operated Scotty's Steakhouse in Spooner, WI.  Marie enjoyed baking, reading and was an avid WWF wrestling fan.

Marie is survived by: a niece-Linda (Dan) Roberts and a nephew-Edward (Susan) Seidel.

She was preceded in death by 1 son-John L. Springer, Jr and daughter in law-Norma Springer and 3 brothers-Charles, Lee and Edward Seidel.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday June 21, 2016 at St. John's Cemetery, 9900 336th Ave. Twin Lakes, WI with Fr. Terry Langley officiating.
