Marilyn Ann Desing

Marilyn A. Desing, 93 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1933, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Frank and Olga (Petterec) Hanisch. Marilyn was a Wisconsin resident most of her life. She graduated from Williams Bay High School with the Class of 1951. She was a homemaker. Marilyn was a member of the First Ev. Lutheran Church of Elkhorn.

Marilyn married Roger C. Krohn on June 26, 1954. He died on May 3, 1962. Marilyn was united in marriage to David W. Desing on August 22, 1964. He died on March 14, 2008.

Marilyn is survived by her sons: David (Linda) Krohn, Michael Desing, Thomas Desing, and James (Barbara) Desing, daughter-in-law, Carol Krohn, ten grandchildren: Jessie, Austin, Kyle, Adam, Sarah, Lauren, Sierra, Madison, Bailey and Lucas, and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Roger C. Krohn and David W. Desing, two sons, Dale A. and Roger F. Krohn, daughter-in-law, Nancy Desing, and sister, Lois Griffin.

Private Family Service will be held at a later date with Pastor Michael Kuschel. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Tibbets. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First. Ev. Lutheran Church, 415 Devendorf St. Elkhorn, WI. Online guest book available at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
