Elkhorn: Marilyn L. Jacobsen, 82 of Elkhorn, WI, 82 of Elkhorn, WI, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva, WI. She was born on August 24, 1932 in Glen Ellyn, IL, the daughter of the late Oliver "OC" and Fairy (Stein) Ragland. Marilyn was united in marriage on November 17, 1951 to Robert C. Jacobsen in Elkhorn, WI. She worked as secretary for the Hospital Administrator for over 23 years at Lakeland Hospital and 7 years working for the Clerk of Courts in Elkhorn, WI retiring in 1987. Marilyn was an avid crafter, especially working with wool. She also loved animals and raised sheep. Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert, three children; Eric (Marian) Jacobsen of Menomonie, WI, Doug (Vickie) Jacobsen of Tucson, AZ, and Mark (Sheri) of Lake Villa, IL, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters; Carol (John) Buck of Lutz, FL and Alice (Robert) Bergeron of Lenexa, KS, and one brother, Ralph (Anna) Ragland of San Antonio, TX. Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Robert Jr. Private family memorial service will be at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Dick Inglett officiating. Inurnment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery Delavan, WI.
