Marion Kohl

Marion (Schaefer)Kohl, 88, of Spring Grove, IL., passed away peacefully on January 10th, 2026, at Burr Oak Manor in Genoa City, WI. She was born on November 5th, 1937, in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany, to Franz, and Antonia (Kalmbach) Schaefer. She was united in marriage to her husband Werner J. Kohl, who passed away in 2017.

Marion was a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother. Up until the end Marion maintained her love for her family. Her family will never forget the warmth and love she brought into their lives, cherished memories forever in their hearts, and a void that will never be filled.

Marion is survived by her 5 children; Shirley Mayer, Mona (Paul) Kohl-Link, Pamela Kohl, Maureen Von Allmen, and Michelle (Tim) Wallace. She is further survived by her 7 grandchildren; Kimberly, Kristina, Brandon, Nicole, Kyle, Logan, Helaina, and her great grandson Dylan.

Marion is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Werner.

A celebration of life for Marion will be held at a later date. Haase-Lockwood and Associates are proud to have served the Kohl family.
