Marjorie M. "Marge" Kruzan age 84 of Silver Lake, WI died Sunday November 30, 2014 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
The former Marjorie M. Stoxen was born on March 10, 1930 in Salem, WI the daughter of the late Austin and Mabel Brinkman Stoxen. On February 5, 1955 in Salem, WI, Marge was united in marriage to Robert Kruzan. They lived in the Salem/Silver Lake area for their entire married life.
Marge served on the Riverview School Board, for a period of over 30 years. She loved to bake and cook and share her food with friends and relatives. Her specialty was Chocolate Chip Cookies. She liked to entertain and she collected recipe books. She liked going to the casinos. Her family was the most important part of her life and she loved spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
Marge is survived by- Her husband-Bob; her two children-Jeffrey (Brenda) Kruzan of Muskego, WI and Julie (Dennis) Epping of Salem, WI. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren-Jade and Chloe' Epping and Bill, Mark and Ciara Kruzan. Marge is also survived by a brother-Bud Stoxen of Silver Lake, WI and sisters in law-Rene Hollencamp of Burlington, WI and Gail (Bob) Sankey of Woodstock, IL. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother in law-Betty and Charles (Pep) Peterson, sister in law Ferne Stoxen and brother in law-Charles Hollencamp.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday Dec. 4, 2014 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes. Inurnment will be in Wilmot Cemetery at a later date. The Kruzan Family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the time of services. Memorial Remembrances may be made to the Kruzan Family for a memorial to be determined.
