Marjorie L. Bartelson, 86 of Punta Gorda, FL and formerly of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Bayfront Health in Punta Gorda.  She was born August 20, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of the late Edward and Urie (Dial) Matthews.  Marjorie was united in marriage to Robert K. Bartelson on October 27, 1956 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, WI.  Marjorie and Robert were active members of St. John's Lutheran Church.  Marjorie had a deep love of animals and enjoyed competitively showing her many dogs throughout the years.  She was a member of various kennel clubs.  Marjorie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert, two children, Lori Getzen of Sarasota, FL and Bill (Joan) Bartelson of Westfield, IN, four grandchildren; Megan (Jon) Anderson, MacKenzie (Jack) Spangler, Matthew (Meghan) Bartelson and Theresa Getzen, four great-grandchildren; Eli and Emma Anderson and John Luke and Wyatt Spangler, and her four siblings; Suzie, Al, Howard and Donald.  She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Edward Getzen.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 104 S. Broad St. Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor Tom DeGroot officiating. Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Tuesday at church.  Interment will follow services at Hazel Ridge Cemetery in Elkhorn, WI.
