Mark A. Olson, 48, of Williams Bay, WI, passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2015. Mark was born in Modesto, California on December 5, 1966, to Gary and Pamela Olson. At a young age he and his Mom and sister relocated to Burlington, Wisconsin.

Mark spent the majority of his life in the Burlington area. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1985. He went on to UW=Whitewater, and joined the U.S. Navy in 1986, serving on the USS Hermitage. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he returned to the Burlington area.

He loved NASCAR, Wisconsin Badger football, riding his Harley and his dogs. His greatest joy, was his nephew and the birth of his great nephew. His service to our country was also a source of great pride to Mark. He was also a member of Harley Owners Group H.O.G.

Mark is survived by his mother, Pamela Olson, of Lake Geneva. His sister Florence Kelly of Lake Geneva. His nephew, Robert (Candi) Mark Olson. His great nephew, Decklyn William, all of Whitewater. His cousins, Matthew (Amy) Thomas of Grayslake, Illinois, Jason (Jennifer) Thomas of Burlington, Bradley(Sarah) Thomas of Wind Lake, WI and Joshua(Jennifer ) Thomas, of Burlington, Wi. His aunts and uncles Janice Thomas of Alloway, NJ and Beverly (James) Kuhtz of Fresno,CA and Gordon Berry of Nashville, TN. His faithful companions Nala and Ellie. Mark is also survived by cousins and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Gary Olson, his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Patricia Thomas, his paternal grandmother, Florence Berry.  His uncle, Robert Thomas and his nephew's father, Jerry Williams. His faithful companions Eli and Tuffy, also preceded Mark.

Per Mark's wishes, no visitation will take place. A memorial gathering will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Williams Bay Rescue, Medix Ambulance Service, and Williams Bay PD and Walworth County Medical Examiner for their compassion shown to his family. Also a big thank you to Andy Haase, Haase Lockwood Funeral home for his help and compassion.
