Elkhorn: Mary C. Knapp, 74 formerly of N. Church Street Elkhorn, WI died Saturday July 11, 2015 at Vintage on the Ponds Delavan, WI.  Mary was born October 9, 1940 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Edward and Berniece M. (DeFreezer) DeBaere.  Mary was united in marriage to Thomas "Tom" D. Knapp Sr. on April 11, 1964 at St. Patrick Catholic Church Elkhorn, WI, Tom died February 13, 2005.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and involved with it many of the church functions including funeral luncheons, turkey dinner and rummage sale.  She enjoyed doing many crafts such as quilting and crocheting, she worked at the polls during elections and was involved with the Walworth County Fair, and she even tried her hand at Beekeeping.  Mary was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife and mother, who is survived by her son, Thomas of Fontana, WI, one brother Donald DeBaere of Lake Geneva, WI and one sister Lorraine Mathis of Burlington, WI and by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Wednesday July 15, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI with Father Oriol Regales officiating.  Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Delavan, WI. Visitation will be Wednesday 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 730 N.
