Elkhorn: Mary E. French, 77, of rural Elkhorn, WI died Tuesday January 13, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1937 in Elkhorn, WI the daughter of the late William L. and Esther G. (Brueser) Seymour. Mary graduated from Elkhorn High School with the Class of 1955. She was united in marriage to Clayton C. French on April 7, 1956 in Elkhorn, WI. Mary enjoyed sewing, knitting, listening to talk radio especially Charlie Sykes and Jeff Wagner, and watching the Green Bay Packers. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her four children; Vicki (Mike) Stern, Julie (Randy) Riese, Tom (Kaye) French and Dejon (Kelvin) Larson all of Elkhorn, WI, Six grandchildren; Stephanie Stern, Joshua, Nicole Riese, Nicholas, Jennifer French and Sarah (Brian) Madl, Three great-grandchildren; Braxton, Skylar and Abby, two brothers; William (Marlene) Seymour and Daniel Seymour both of Elkhorn, WI, two sisters; Katie (Roger) Larsen of Elkhorn, WI and JoAnne (Sam) Soffa of Whitewater, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 53 years Clayton. Memorial service will be 7:00 PM Monday January 19, 2015 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.
