Mary Ellen Amber, 83 of Elkhorn, WI, died Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Delavan Health Services.  She was born July 8, 1937 in Chicago, IL, the daughter to the late Edward and Lillian (Lehman) Kuffel.  Mary Ellen was united in marriage to Louis O. Amber on October 1, 1960 in Chicago, IL.  He preceded her in death on March 23, 2011.  Mary Ellen was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Elkhorn, WI. She was volunteered and was very active with the Women's Pregnancy Helpline.  Mary Ellen was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Granny.

Mary Ellen is survived by her three children; Rosanne Larsen, Michael (Jacki) Amber and Tony Amber all of Elkhorn, WI, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Louis, parents, aunt, Gertrude Lehman and brother, Jerome Kuffel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM on Friday, May 7, 2021 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, WI, with Fr. Oriol Regales officiating.  Visitation will be 9:00AM to 10:30AM on Friday at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.  Interment will follow services at Mt.
