Mary C. Lorge, 70 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Froedtert Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie, surrounded by her family. She was born May 1, 1955, in Platteville, WI, to the late Edward and Hildegard (Schaefer) Hinderman. Mary was united in marriage to Edward A. Lorge on September 10, 1999, at St. Roman Catholic Parish in Milwaukee, WI.
Mary was a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandma, and Friend. Mary was a lifelong Catholic and was strong in her faith. She genuinely loved (and was loved by) her entire family. She enjoyed spirited games of Euchre with her family and loved to play bingo. She loved driving to and visiting with family and friends. She liked watching many different sports and she made the world’s best potato salad. Mary was also very dedicated and hardworking. At times she worked 3 jobs as a single mother to support her two sons. She worked for MultiPlan/Claritev for over 20 years. She also worked for Farm & Fleet in the Monroe and Oak Creek locations for approximately 25 years.
Mary is survived by her husband, Ed Lorge, two sons, Brandon (Kristen Hires) Olson and Bryan (Angela) Olson, five grandchildren, Ethan, Sawyer, Damon, Nolan, and Quinn, six siblings, David (Pam) Hinderman, Mark Hinderman, Kathleen (David) Minder, Kevin (Jane) Hinderman, Katherine (Jeffrey) Falk, and Alan (Julie) Hinderman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father in 2009, her mother in 2015 and brother, Dorrence Hinderman in 1976.
Memorial Mass will be 3:30PM on Friday, May 1, 2026, at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth St. Delavan, WI, with a visitation from 2:00PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Andrew’s Catholic School, 115 S. 7th St. Delavan, WI 53115. Online guest book available at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes completed arrangements with the Lorge Family.
