Mary Jane Vorpagel: 82, of Elkhorn, WI died unexpectedly Saturday December 14, 2019 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.  She was born March 23, 1937 in Elkhorn, WI the daughter of the late Raymond and Marguerite (Gray) Schilz.  She was united in marriage to Richard H. Vorpagel on September 11, 1953 in Greenville, S.C.  Mary Jane was an artist who loved oil painting.  Her greatest love was her family; she was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard, six children: LouAnn (Tom) Getzen of Whitewater, WI, Bonnie (Monte) Cater of Martinsburg, W.V., Richard Vorpagel of Delavan, WI, Linda (Mike) Gasch of Darien, WI, Tammy (Bud) Krueger of Elkhorn, WI and Pammy Meisel of Darien, WI, eighteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren, her brother: Wayne (Lela) Schilz of Darien, WI and her sister-in-law: Marlene Schilz of Lake Geneva, WI, and by a host of other relatives and friends and her dog: Keno.  Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Barbara Buikema and Kathleen Thomas and her brother: Raymond Schilz.  Private Memorial Service will be held at Millard Community Covenant Church.  Memorials may be made in Mary Jane's name to: St. Jude's Children Hospital.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.  Arrangements completed by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI.
