Megan L. Toflinski age 38 of Genoa City, WI died Friday afternoon August 15, 2014 at the Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, WI.
The former Megan Lorraine Burmeister was born on June 24, 1976 in Shakopee, Minnesota the daughter of John and Dianne Paquin Burmeister. On October 21, 2000 in Kenosha, WI, she was united in marriage to Keith J. Toflinski. They moved from Kenosha to Genoa City in 2001.
Megan worked as an administrative assistant for the Pleasant Street, Inc. and was a care giver for the disabled. She attended the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Genoa City. She enjoyed her children, family and friends. She also enjoyed camping.
Megan is survived by: Her Husband-Keith; 4 children-John, Joshua, Jason and Madison all at home; Her Parents-John and Dianne Burmeister of Burlington, WI; 9 brothers and sisters-John (Kim) Burmeister of Belle Plaine, MN, Athena Burmeister of Kenosha, WI, Sara (Brad) Meseck of Rogers, MN, Suzette (Todd Zimmerman) of Lake Geneva, WI, Jacob (Alli) Burmeister of Madison, WI, Alita Burmeister of Lansing, MI,Katherine Burmeister of Lisle, IL, Scarlet (Andrew Kearney) Burmeister of Chicago, IL and Michael Burmeister of Burlington, WI; and nieces and nephews.
Megan was preceded in death by 1 brother-Andrew Burmeister.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday August 19, 2014 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 624 Park St. Genoa City, WI. Interment will be in Mound Prairie Cemetery in Twin Lakes. The Toflinski Family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Monday Aug. 18, 2014 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Genoa City and after 10:00AM Tuesday at the Church.
