Michael F. Zdanek age 57 of Lyons, WI, died Monday February 16, 2015 at his home.
Michael Francis Zdanek was born on July 31, 1957 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Henry and Eveline Kedzior Zdanek. Michael lived in Twin Lakes, WI before moving to Lyons 13 years ago.
Michael worked in food service for the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva. He was a member of the Order of the Knights' of Columbus at St. Francis and a 4th Degree Mother Seton Council, Knight's of Columbus. He enjoyed watching action movies, listening to country bands, reading, attending the county and state fairs and especially his family.
Michael is survived by: 6 brothers and sisters-Barbara (Edwin) Parks-Sala of McCook, IL, Thaddeus "Ted" (Roxanne) of Frankfort, IL, Greg (Donna) of Overland Park, KS, Mary Jo Zdanek of Minnetonka, MN, Matthew of Missoula, Montana and Thomas (Cheryl) of Spring Grove, IL; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister in law-Richard (Arlene) Zdanek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00PM Saturday Feb. 21, 2015 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva. Interment will be at 11:00AM Monday at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. The Zdanek Family will receive friends from 10:00AM Saturday until the time of Mass at the Church.
