Mychajlo Skirka, age 94, of Pell Lake, WI, died Saturday August 6, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mychajlo was born on August 20, 1921 in the Ukraine, the son of the late Gregory and Rosalia Havrylechko Skirka.  In Germany in the year of 1945, Mychajlo was united in marriage to Anna Lycz.  The came from Brazile to the United States November 22, 1955.  They settled in Chicago where Mychajlo worked as a maintenance man for Harris Bank.  They moved to Pell Lake 37 years ago.  He was a member of the Vladirir and Olha Ukrainian Church in Chicago, IL.

Mychajlo was a member of Oochsu-Defense of Four Freedoms for Ukraine.  He enjoyed gardening and was a very hard worker.

Mychajlo is survived by: His wife Anna; 2 daughter's-Ereka Dailey f Bradenton, FL and Lucia (Zenoviy) Timchak of Genoa City, WI; 1 grandson-Paul James Dailey.

He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday Aug. 11, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home with Fr.
