Elkhorn:  Myron " Mike" E. Paddock; 78 of Cty Road A Elkhorn, WI passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center Milwaukee, WI.  He was born July 9, 1937 in Elkhorn, WI, the son of the late Harley and Elizabeth (Therkelsen) Paddock.  He graduated from Elkhorn High School with the Class of 1955, then attended University of Wisconsin-Madison Mechanical Engineering Program.  He graduated from the US Air Force Aviation Cadet Program. Mike served as an Officer and a Pilot in the 176th Fighter Squadron flying F89's and F102's.  He was united in marriage to Lauri E. Anderson on March 9, 1974 in Elkhorn, WI. Mike was a Captain with Delta Airlines for over 13 years before taking a medical retirement in 1977.  Mike was an aviation enthusiast, farmer, real estate developer, and entrepreneur.  He also enjoyed sports especially the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.  He was past chairman of the Walworth County Republican Party and past president of the Elkhorn Rotary Club.  He attended Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church, which he considered his home church.

Mike was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather and was extremely proud of his family, who include his wife of 41 years, Lauri, his two children; Matthew (Megan) Paddock and Amy (Travis) Henry all of Elkhorn, WI,  Six grandchildren; Joshua and Noah Henry, Reid, Owen, Luke and Kate Paddock, his sister; Joanne Mawhinney of Elkhorn, WI, her children Lisa (Lee) Gottschalk, Jim Mawhinney, Jeff (Jamie) Mawhinney and his heart donor sister; Ursula (Jeff) Lukanc of San Jose, CA and their children Kendrick and Gavin.  In 1991, Mike received a life-saving heart transplant (from the Brennwald/Lukanc Family) that sustained him for a miraculous and blessed 24 years.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church N6686 Hwy 12 Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Sean Sweetman officiating. Immediately following the service at the church a visitation and fellowship will be held at Evergreen Golf Club at N6246 Hwy 12 Elkhorn, WI.
