IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nadine B
(Larose) Zarnstorff
July 12, 1955 – October 10, 2021
Nadine B. Zarnstorff (LaRose), 66 of Genoa City, WI, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Nadine, born in Chippewa Falls on July 12, 1955, was the daughter of Norman and Marie (Hemminger) LaRose.
In June of 1982, Nadine married Paul Zarnstorff, and together, they had three daughters, Janele, Shari, and Sheila. Their home was full of love and laughter. Nadine was a stay at home mom, and happy to be an extra "mom" for any kid. She was happiest when she had children playing around her, and her sweetheart close by. Over the years, Nadine and Paul faced a car accident and a house fire but they held hands and made it through every challenge together.
Nadine and Paul opened their hearts and their home to many people. There was always enough room, and enough to share. The door was always open for family and friends to visit, with a puzzle to work on, and a cup of coffee. This was especially true around the holidays. It was important to her that everyone felt welcome for a good meal, and good company. Nadine loved her family, and to her, the word family included more than just her immediate family; it meant her extended family, and the friends who became family.
Of all the things that she did in life, Nadine probably loved being a Grammy most. She was there for all of the snuggles, the baby kisses, and the smiles. She cherished every crayon drawing and played all of the silly games. Grammy listened to everything each one had to say. She read and reread their favorite stories. She made sure that they always had plenty of candy and ice cream. She was ready for a tea party or pirate adventure at a moment's notice.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Wayne, and her sister, Violet. She is survived by her husband Paul; three daughters, Janele (Tim), Shari (AJ), and Sheila; four grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Jennifer), Marshall (Lori), Darrell (Tonya), Ivan (Laurie), Karen, Kevin (Yvette), and Terry; and step siblings.
