Nancy A. Groen; 62 of Timber Court Eagle, WI died Sunday July 27, 2014 at Froedtert Hospital Wauwatosa, WI. She was born August 5, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of the late Vernon L. and Dorothy R. (Kemp) Ellington. Nancy was united in marriage to Robert A. Groen on December 13, 1975 in Milwaukee, WI. Nancy owned and operated Nancy Cares Daycare Center in Eagle for over 30 years. She was very active in the Eagle community; she was the past president of Eagle Business Association a position she held for 24 years, in that time she was active with the parade, community rummage sale, Halloween hayride and the Eagle Business Directory. She was a volunteer at the Eagle Elementary School with the reading program and was a member of the Eagle Horseshoe League. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Bob, her son Kevin (Jess Dunning) Groen of Milwaukee, WI, her sister Patricia (Ken) Fisher of Albuquerque, NM, and by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother David Ellington. Memorial service will be 7:00 PM Thursday July 31, 2014 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory "Mealy's Chapel" 103 W. Eagle Street Eagle, WI.
